Up, up and away...in two months or less!

Ok, the official beginning of our trip preparation.

We are going in TWO MONTHS - we are now committed. Yesterday I told my old boss in New York (Peggy Noonan) that we would be there in August - it works for her and for Will who was my 'charge' for 2 years way back in the early 90s - he has just finished his first year at varsity so it well over time for a visit. And we can stay with Peggy back in the east 90s of Manhattan which will be soooo nice. They are great people. Can't wait. It will be lovely being back in the old neighbourhood, this time with the whanau. I hope they love it as much as I did as a younger lass.

Very exciting - just working out who to fly with, pending settlement on our house, which is funding the trip. We have now officially joined WWOOF and are browsing chateau volunteering opportunities to apply for in France.

So just what seems like a million passport forms to sort out to both renew NZ and get my UK passport, the house to rent, the business to lease...and we'll be off. *phew*
